Entry Requirements
Learners are required to have English and Maths at Level 2, alongside a minimum level 3 qualification in the subject they are going to teach. Work experience with adult learners is required.

The average completion time for this course is 12 months.
Assessment requirements
Assessments will be carried out using various evaluation mediums such as, observation of practice, witness statements, reflections, case studies, placement log and written questions.
Placement or Practical required
Learners are required to work in adult vocational learning with 100 logged hours, of which 8 hours have been observed. This qualification does not provide the learner with the credentials required to teach in primary or secondary schools. Upon completion of this qualification, learners can apply for the professional formation of QTLS Status through the Society for Education and Training (SET).

Assessment
The qualification is assessed by a range of assessments that are designed to test your understanding and application of theory. As such, a portfolio of evidence will be required to demonstrate your practical skills, in addition to observations of your practice.
Learners will also need to have completed a minimum of 100 hours of practice and be able to evidence their ability to work with groups of learners.
Upon completion of this qualification, you will achieve either a pass or a fail.
Upon successful completion of this Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) course, you will have developed and refine vital skills to work in the education and training sector.
